yep that's why Sand Leaper agreed on it ;P
no but seriously. I've thought long and can't come up with any tune that better represents trance than Firedance. It includes all those elements that makes a trance song trancy.

Without a doubt. It has the SWEETEST build up and I love when the melody is played in higher notes and the strong hi hat kicks in which makes it extremely driving. I love the other little melody, or riff or whatever that kicks in about 30 to 40 secs after the little breakdown after about 4-5 minutes, so good, then the melody comes back in again. Lovely song!


The Capriole tracks aren't bad either!

Another genre defining tune is Vernon - Vernons Wonderland. For suuuure.

Hell yes, Vernons Wonderland.
Hmm... The stuff in the NASA set, and similiar stuff. That's a modern and fresh version of the older stuff, if you ask me. Maybe not as sinister, but still pretty similiar.
