Go to an EDM event in Japan though, and tell me the scene is dominated by white people.

Still as far as DJ's and producers go, trance is dominated by whites.

Because he molested the 3 year old goat. (in goat years it was actually 16, so it was mature enough to understand & consented by yelling out two gentle "maaars")

Not to sound naive or stereotypical, I guess this phenomenon can be associated to the fact that black people have an inborn sense of rythm and percussion. This can be attributed to the fact that arguably the pioneers of house are incidentally, black. Tribal house that is today borrows a lot of african-influenced percussion and rhythm as well.
Geographical factors can also influence music in many ways.
There's an increasing number of South American techno / tech producers (Santiago Nino / Wehbba etc. ). South Americans have a sense of rhythm and percussion also.
Trance on the other hand, requires a seperate state of mind / mental outlook that is strangely, found more in non-black people.

Europe is lonely and cold in the winters. This is a definite factor in inspiring

Whether any track has a soul or not depends on how much care and passion they put in it. Genre nor the instruments matter in my opinion.

Oh I mean Soul genre wise and black music in general. There is nothing black about trance - doesnt mean black people wont like it or make it (usually does though) but there is no black music in trance music really.
