Not to sound naive or stereotypical, I guess this phenomenon can be associated to the fact that black people have an inborn sense of rythm and percussion. This can be attributed to the fact that arguably the pioneers of house are incidentally, black. Tribal house that is today borrows a lot of african-influenced percussion and rhythm as well.
Geographical factors can also influence music in many ways.
There's an increasing number of South American techno / tech producers (Santiago Nino / Wehbba etc. ). South Americans have a sense of rhythm and percussion also.
Trance on the other hand, requires a seperate state of mind / mental outlook that is strangely, found more in non-black people.
Europe is lonely and cold in the winters. This is a definite factor in inspiring
