Helsinki Scorchin'
Marcel Woods - Advanced
Marco V - False light, really can't stand the new remixes which have given this mediocre tune more airplay.

Well produced can mean a variety of things, depending on the track. It means it sounds perfect for the type of song. Good production can be low-key or it can ultra-shiny synth polish.

Youīre kidding??? Tell me when you wake up. I do not defend TTD, just trying to think otherwise than f.e. you do.

No I'm not kidding. Some music is just shit and if you like it you have shit tastes. As far as I'm concerned, TTD is one of those. People who justify poorly written, poorly produced music with the line "Everyone has a different opinion" are just making excuses. Someone who owns 20,000 records has a much better idea of what good music is than someone who owns 20 records, for example.

Breeder is overrated in my opinion. Their only work that isn't overrated is New York FM (Van Bellen Mix) and Twilo Thunder. I actually don't like Twilo Thunder but it has mass appeal so I thought I should mention that. The rest of their stuff bores me.

And if it recieves a lot of praise from many people, itīs probably because THEY like it, so the tune is well-made in some way, so it canīt be overrated then?

This is my main issue with your post. You're saying that a popular tune can't possibly be overrated. But this is putting the cart before the horse. A tune is overrated because it receives praise. In the case of overrated tunes, the praise is unwarrented. You're basically saying that nothing can be overrated.

This is not true, and TTD is a prime example.

I guess Ferry Corsten heard thousands of records in his life and he played TTD, so your theory is wrong there.

Yes! How dare he rip off a track that came out several years later than Blue Fear?

Oh wait...

I like Let Go, Eleven, Enemy, Closer, Sydney, Tracking Treasure Down.

best track for me is Sydney, the build-up is simply amazing here!

but some tracks don't work for me att all:

Dust in the Wind is so inharmonic, melody and vocals don't fit together.

Mass repeat is just to electro for me.

Not Enough is a downtempo track with male vocals. sounds to flat for me. armin and tiesto have included good downtempos on their albums, they were emotional, just the opposite of this.

New Path has also too much electro sound and the bass is so high that the vocals don't seam to fit in there. don't like the bassline here.

Dangerous Power sounds like Tracking Treasure Down. I also don't like the effects in this track and the end of the song is very weird.

Nevertheless the album is not that bad, but I have expected a better one.
