A quick look into india/Iran shows up that they are working on a deal for Iran to supply India with LNG, and that India supports Irans peacful use of nuclear tech, but no mention of this conflict indirectly.

Im doing some research on the Iran/India Iran/Pakistan relationships, ill post some of my ideas on how this would affect the Israel/Syria/Iran conflict later. But yeah it looks like India and Pakistan are siding more with Iran than with their 'ally' the US.

Shows how much they devalue the lives and well-being of other nations.

You've got 3 of our soldiers, and we're willing to kill as many of your people as necessary to get them back.

It works well in the romanticism of the jewish public: "Our government values each and every one of our citizens so much that it's willing to start a war just to protect the rights of 2-3".

The Jewish government and people seem to have conviniently forgotten that these people were soldiers. It's a part of their job description to risk getting captured or killed.

I guess it's just got to do with the typical zionist attitudes of "we are god's chosen people". It just excludes everyone else, and devalues them and their lives. All of the arabs in the zionist mindset have been severely dehumanised.

Iran also has a powerful militray and airforce, given that their airforce is not as strong as the Israely one but still they have one which poses a challenge. Recently i've been looking at the map of the area and Israel is definetly not in a very good strategic position, specially if it is to attack Syria and or Iran.

I would think that the only way that they could viably attack Syria/Iran is if the US gave them a hand using Afghanistan and Iraq. But then that would only fuel rebellion that is already ongoing in those countries. And then you have the other muslim countries in the region. Sure some of them say that they're the US's allies but that can change in the drop of a dime, specially if we get the population of those countries rebelling and creating dissent inside those countries.

Another thing im curious and dont have time to research, i have way to much homework, is India's and Pakistan's positions regarding Israel/Syria/Iran? Anyone have any info on that? If they were to be pro Syria/Iran im pretty sure a conflict against Syria/Iran would drag the whole region into a war and it would turn nasty very very fast, even involving the smaller ex-USSR countries.

Try to not think of South-West asia as a part of the middle east. THey're not that closesly linked.

You've missed the point completely.
Those soldiers were within their OWN BORDERS when it happened.
By any civil, modern country's standards that's an act of war plain and simple.
Killing and kidnapping a government's soldiers is quite different than civilians so let's be clear about this distinction because their are rules of engagement when it comes to crossing borders and killing another's military.
Then the perpetrators have the audacity to demand a lopsided prisoner exchange with known terrorists?
Please save us the morality ploy.

The Israelis have bent over backwards these last couple of years and what do they get? A proxy war with Syrian and Iranian backed Hizballah /Hamas firing rockets over the green line into Israel from land they already left.

Again the war isn't on Lebanon, it's on the Hizballah IN Lebanon.
The Israelis have made concerted efforts to let everyone know in Lebanon to get the hell out of the way while this is going on.
Why would they do that? That doesn't sound like the acts of selfish Zionism.
