I don't understand why Agüero doesn't play.

Atleti paid 25 milions of € and Aguirre prefers to put a player from Atletico B than Agüero, something weird.

On the other hand I think the injury of Petrov is the key of the three consecutives defeats of Atletico

I actually have no idea why he isn't playing Agüero more, it's all up to Aguirre himself to give him the chance, which I also believe he will in the next game, I want him to change formation to 4-4-2 and play with Torres and Agüero upfront. This way we'll have a bigger chance of scoring and to open up space, Torres alone doesn't work at all and it's proven now aswell.

Perhaps we should change to Costinha & Luccin instead of Luccin & Maniche because Maniche hasn't done anything yet since he made his debut against Real Madrid. But if Atlético plays this way, Then everything will happen on the flanks.

Petrov's and Maxi Rodriguez's injuries is major blows for Atlético and out plans of getting a place in the Champions League. I think our plans changed a little when we got these two injuries, which also makes it a lot harder for the team to perform as they're supposed to. Atlético's whole idea is to play on the flanks, Unfortunately our two best players got injured, Probably the two most essential players together with Peter Luccin, Pablo Ibañez and Luis Perea.

Atlético played very bad yesterday against Mallorca and the game ended 0:0.

It doesn't come as a surprise though, and Maniche has been shit ever since he made his debut against Real Madrid. But I certainly hope Atlético doesn't sack Javier Aguirre, because we'll be back on square one if that happens.

This is one of the best nights in a couple of weeks.

Atlético started out in a very aggressive tempo and started creating chances from the very beginning. Villareal scored the first goal of the game though, after a fatal misstake in the defence by a couple of players. Villareal had three players free in the box while we didn't mark our opponents, Fuentes opened the goalscoring for Villareal.

There's one difference between the last months games and the game tonight, Atlético continued playing amazing forward and they created more chances in this game, than they've done on the whole month, ever since the Recreativo-game.

Barbosa made some amazing saves on Atlético's attempts to equalize the game, but in the end, Atlético got the goal we needed and it was after a hard freekick from Pernía that Ze Castro (Who replaced Pablo Ibañez who's injured), scored his first goal ever for Atlético. The look on his face was amazing, Total luck!

Atlético continued in their furious tempo and created even more chances, but Barbosa saved it all until Fernando Torres got a penalty after a outstanding performance where three men got fucked in one single move! He got a penalty, and scored the goal that gave Atlético 2:1 before HT. The Rojiblancos continued playing amazing football in the second half, and El Kun got to score another goal for Atlético before the game was over, a great chip over the goalkeeper into the back of the net.

Gabi got a chance to play tonight aswell after his car accident earlier this season which has prevented him from playing. Agüero got standing ovations by the crowd, Amazing night!

Atlético's best players were: Seitaridis, Pernía, Galletti, Antonio Lopez, Luccin, Maniche, Torres and Sergio "El Kun" Agüero!

Some bad news aswell, Torres looked like he was injured and had to be substituted against Jurado. Hopefully he won't be away for to long, We've got enough problems with injuries.

Hands down to Atlético tonight!

The team is playing well again and the win against Levante tonight was pretty impressive even though the last two goals came after the red card.

Fernando Torres scored the first goal on a penalty after Dehú violently brought down Antonio Lopez. Safe penalty. Second goal was scored by Maniche who's beginning to find himself again, good shot and 0:2. The 3rd goal was very nice, Luccin passed out to Antonio Lopez and he crossed the ball into the middle where Maniche was standing, He scored 0:3 on a header!

Agüero got subbed off against Costinha which I found quite weird, but still, Aguirre wanted to get the three points safely.

Luciaaaaaaaaaaaaaano Galletti!

Galletti after his goal, if someone deserves to score a goal, well, Then it's definetly Luciano Galletti after all his work!

Kun with a slight concusion most likely, I hope it's nothing serious and that he'll be back until the next game in La Liga against Espanyol.

Tonights hero Leo Franco is being congratulated by Peter Luccin after his second penalty save tonight!

I think we started out very well and created a lot of chances, unfortunately we missed them. Betis came into the game and showed that they shouldn't belong in the lower regions of La Liga, but they never managed to score a goal.

Instead, Galletti scored after very nice play from Agüero, Seitaridis and what I think was Maniche, Galletti gets the ball and shots it on volley to score the only goal of the game!

Betis took care of the game from the 50th minute, and Aguirre built a big wall by substituting Torres who didn't show much today, Unfortunately, on came Costinha. Agüero subbed aswell, probably because of the slighter concussion.

The referee gave Betis two penalties, the second one was hilarious and should never had happened, The first one, Ok. But Leo Franco saves us. Dani had a great chance aswell in the end of the game but shot over the stadium.

We're currently on the 4th spot while Zaragoza, Sevilla and Real Madrid has one game less played. Barcelona tied tonight against Levante away while Valencia lost another game, this time to Recreativo who continues to play strong. They're currently 6th, 2 points ahead of Getafe with one game more played.

Betis continues to struggle in the end of the table, they're on a unimpressive 17th place, 1 point ahead of Athletic Bilbao and with one game more played.

Aupa Atlético!
