Don't know why, but many of the tracks remind me of RPG videogame music. Like the music that would play in the background when walking around cities in games such as FF7, or Xenogears. Overall, it's a very high quality album.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but did anyone notice that track 6 on the back of the CD case is spelled Anhtkythera and on the DVD its spelled Antikythera. Is this a mistake?

I think I heard somewhere the case is wrong and the DVD correct.

Is the DVD locked into a region, or is it region 0? Hasn't been released here yet so might have to get it from overseas

Discogs:

Note: On the back of the CD and in the album booklet, track six is titled "The Anhtkythera Mechanism", yet on the DVD and on the website the title is "The Antikythera Mechanism". According to Wikipedia and other sources, the title on the DVD and website is correct.

I've listened to it in whole - half listened actually and didn't really 'get' it. I than just set aside an hour to sit and listen and was def. taken back by the mood the tracks set. It's not an easy listening album but rather feels like a piece of work where one just needs to focus time on...nothing good or bad about that just not the norm.

Now, having watched few of the videos, wow is all I can say. Will I pop the thing in to listen to it at some later point like I do with ESCM or any of his other albums? Not sure. The tracks in his previous works were simple and din't require such a focus to actually enjoy them (for me) - I def. like it at present tho, least it's not the same ol' shit coming out of the trance radio shows .

Yeah it does take some time to get used to, esp because the tracks are quite the journey in and of themselves. They have various sections in them that are like mini-stories. So it's almost as if each track is made up of variations of a theme. I think this album is similar to Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" but a lil' more complex. It took me a while to get into that album, but it did grow on me, and the tracks were like mini-journeys into one big journey, which is really cool i'de say. Cool how some of these artists can capture many different feelings within a single track.
