long distance may seem crazy,but after dating umpteen people where i have nothing in common and nothing is going anywhere, making the effort is easy when you find someone who is worth it.

ok but there are a lot of cons to long distance relationships. i'm not saying they apply to you guys, but when u are in one, you tend to brush aside a lot of things that would normally bug you about someone because you have such limited time with them and it's just not a big deal to you. like maybe you're bf/gf is super lazy and always jokes about it and you think it's "funny" or "cute", but u guys never see each other, so when u do, that's all u care about. but then let's say after a year, u guys make the move and start living together and then u realize that his/her laziness is a HUGE turn off and he/she never gets anything done and you are very driven and focused and then u start to have problems and think, "god why didn't i see this before?"
that's all i'm saying. that's why i'm not really fond of the long distance thing. maybe for a few months or something, but i'd much rather be in the same zip code (or within a 30 min drive of) as my sig. other.
