generic and dull tracklist i thought. i take back that maybe you haven't seen anything good, but it just wasn't well done. it stopped midway into it, that basically ruins the time for me in the first place. i split to the outside after that, because the people partying outside were more into it. people weren't really dancing inside... it seemed like alot of people that have never really been to an event before.
i heard more people asking if pvd was any good than anything about how good he is. i went with about 15 people who have been going to events for years, and everybody agreed that the event wasn't good. he didn't play a single track that actually excited anybody, except for 4strings. i think he dropped royksopp - what else is there. in there too if i remember, and that's a pretty dope track, but didn't mesh with the rest of the stuff he played. i couldn't dance to any of it really...
i'm not trying to offend anybody, just give an honest opinion, and hopefully next year will be better so the people that read all these positive reviews and get excited will have something to be excited about.

HIS SHIT DIED SATURDAY IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS SET. that's just terrible. I can't believe it, must be embarrassing. Or maybe he doesn't give a shit. Every time I've seen PVD it seems like he doesnt give a shit anyways. its a paycheck.
if you want to see a real show, see armin. real emotion, and actually good music. tiesto is good too. actually, almost anybody but pvd. i went this year and last and will definitely never waste my money on that shit ever again. if you think this event was even satisfactory, chances are you've never seen anything good.
+ 1 ... and these herbs on here make fun of tiesto , at least when I saw tiesto it was none stop Energy and Heard Tons of Sick New Tracks . Going to see armin this oCt 1st time Cant wait -> Going to see pvd in roseland for one reason only , cause im gettin in for free Hopefully he will change my mind about him but if he ends his set the same way he always does Im not gonna catch a pvd show for a whileee .... Last time in roseland he was pretty solid its just Every single track he drops sounds the same idk

compairing armin to paul is like compairing Armin's control freak to the bootleg paul plays in his set.

I just do it exactly the way I enjoy listening to it. This is most of the time it is with banging beats. It is even with a soft thing, a soft melodic idea, or whatever. I still like to have it rocking. Keep in mind what this music is made for, first of all. Its not made to be easy listening on the radio. Its not made to be easy listening in television. Its actually kick ass in the club. This is what music is. This is the purpose of this art form...to listen to it and let the frequencies actually blow you away. --Paul Van Dyk

He definately played it, or tried too. I agree with you here. It is a strangely awesome track, but his mix was way off. He basically ruined the uniqueness of the song.
