i really enjoyed armin's set, but i think that i was either too sober or getting to old to be able to really enjoy myself in a place as packed and hot as KH was.

I got in around 10:30 pm. It was my first time @ Guv so I was just blown away by the entire complex. I just walked around the place to see how it was. I totally forgot about the TOTA meetup . But I still managed to run into some TA throught the entire night, which was good. I finally settled down at the koolhaus to hear MO.

AvB (10/10)----> Un freakin believable! Awesome and fairly solid set that just kept me dancing almost the whole time, the thirst, heat, and dense crowd couldn't stop me. His set slowely sucked me closer to the stage. By the end his incredible trance and epic parts got the best of me. I Felt like passing out. So I rested when Junkie XL came on. Armin was the highlight of the night. It teases the shit out of me when you hear a really good song(like the ones at the end) that you never heard before and you may never hear it again. Does anyone know the names of the songs that were played near the ending?

Junkie XL(8/10)----> I heard some of his set it was good. I went on the dancefloor and saw his leg on top of the decks ready to jump when the chrus of the song came on..lol. Crazy. I hope someone video taped that...lol. It was A good song that I heard in the hype material on the roll call thread. lyrics were talking about (taking pictures from the lense of a camera) Does anyone know wats the name of that song? Thanx

Benny Bennasi(9/10)----> Now, I never planned on hearing that guy. I wanted to relax and watch the sunrise in the skybar. But I got lost trying to find it and ended up in a room at the top that over looks the Guv mainroom. So I just stood there listening to his set. I thought he was gonna play crap similar to whose your daddy. Instead he layed down some really good stuff that totally took me by surprise and went beyond my excpectations. I especially liked when he played Oxia - Domino, it sounded better than Armin's version. That particular song sounds better housey beats. I listened to him until 8:30 am. Then Went to catch Ferry.

Ferry Corsten(9/10)----> Right after Junkie XL, I stayed and caught almost 2 hours of his set. It was good but I was really tired and wasn't feeling his music much. After coming back from the main room at 8:30am I was so tired that I couldn't remember how it was. I remember him playing On Fire twice though. Which kinda annoys me. I don't like it when DJ do that. But considering it was a 6 hour set, its okay to do that. Ferry had a really good ending which ROCKED tha place!! Wow.... He made me stay till the end!!!!!

crowd (9/10)----> I thought I would hate packed venues like koolhaus or Guv. But instead I liked it b/c they create a good vibe and energy. The crowd was pretty friendly too. Lots of beautiful ladies too. I elbowed so many ppl on the head and step on their feet( by accident of course) and they turn around I apoligize they smile and just keep on partying. Some gave me water when I needed it. Some treat me like I already know them but I don't. I think its b/c I was surrounded by E users . That was more obvious during Ferry's set at around 9:30am.

Overall (10/10)----> Simply the best clubbing experience in my life. I'll post more when I remember more.

awwwwwwwh that sucksss... sorry to hear that big sis. yeah my throat and voice have been ******ed since i woke up EARLY this morning, like 6 45 ish...in the car ride home it was fine, but not til i fell asleep and woke back up did i realize my voice was screwed up...

also, i realized what the term deafening silence is...when i got out of bed this morning at cam's place i couldnt hear a thing, not even the buzzing that is typical after such a night, thank the earplugs for that, but i also blame them for making me temporarily deaf...so i came up with the bright idea of hopping on the decks and mixing in the headphones to "Normalize" my hearing again...

ive been boiling and shivering, sweating and freezing, sleeping and drowsy...this really sucks, get better Jenn
