In the city... probably Stereo could but they are to lazy booking the same people.

Plus Lawler is like Tribe unofficial resident.

No...

(edit: I'm serious, I really don't think anyone in Montreal even comes close to that amount of bookings...)

Hmm.. anything is possible... If they like Digweed and they see Tribe booking all these different types of people... probably gives them a reason too keep going anyways... and spending $1,000 on alcohol, thats my mentality.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW...ok here I go:

I convinced Tag to come to MTL about 6 hours before the doors were supposed to open at Tribe. Jesse got to my place in the evening, we went to the Old Port, ate at McDonalds, met Val (Enjoy) at Square Victoria, got back on the metro to meet Brendan, met Brendan at Lionel Groulx and cabbed it back to Square Victoria where we all met up with Alex. Later on, we were at Pub St James (next door to Tribe), killing some time by having a drink because there was no line up to line up in. Julius and his friend Evan met us at the pub, and around 10pm, we lined up behind a line of perhaps 12 people.

Lots of TAs came not too long after (Sean Walsh, HakiSaki, so many others...) and you felt tension rising because of the delay of entrance. I called my mom (!HAHA!) and passed some time on the phone with her telling me how much of a RETARD I was for waiting so long to see this DJ named (as she said it...) John Digerryweedy...I walked around a bit, smoked a jay, wandered through the mass of people outside waiting, just looking for other TA faces/friends etc...Blah blah blah, all that to say I CHILLED THE FUCK OUT even tho I was extremely PISSED. I had such a fkn headache from all the yelling.

At 1 point, the "head bouncer" (bald guy/shaved head, big blue eyes) tells the crowd "10-15" mins guys, then we can start letting people in. This message was given at approximately 10:20pm. At 12:10am, I was holding onto Brendan's hand with my left one and holding onto (I think) Vermz's (or Louis', I'm not sure) hand with my right one. The bouncer WAS extremely rude and unfair, letting only me in and telling Brendan staright up "She's in, you're not right now". I was stamped VIP (I didn't even go in the stupid VIP, didn't even know where it was at the beginning) when I hadn't even entered the club's doors (???) let alone give them my 20$...It was pure empty inside at 12:20am.

Malick was finishing up his set and I was chatting with Maher since I knew practically no one else except for Louis, Vermz, [email protected] 25 mins later, I saw Enjoy's and Alex's heads bobbing in the club (which had gone from EMPTY to NICELY PACKED within 15 minutes). So they got in 25 mins after I did...I thought, "YAY Brendan's here with them, all my friends are here now...I can have some fun!" I asked Alex where everyone was. He said they went home. I asked if they were pissed at me and he said, "Ya pretty much". Look guys, (especially Brendan) I'm VERY VERY VERY sorry for that but it's not conceivable in my mind that ANYONE has the right to be MAD at ME for not getting you guys all in! Should I have not gone to see my 4th favourite DJ in the world? I THINK NOT!!!

Once inside, I chatted alot with some people I hadn't seen in a while, drank ALOT, and payed close attention to Diggers' set...which was OFF THE HOOK great! I enjoyed the last hour and 30 minutes of especially...NO Transitions tracks...It wouldn't have made me unhappy to have heard any of the album (because I actually enjoyed most of it) but it was a confirmation of a CLEAR line between his albums and his live sets...The man is a magician and my eyes got to see his talent, let alone my ears.

I strongly dislike the kinds of people who were there that night (show-offs, snobs, FAKE people in general), the staff was unbelievably rude and pure mean (2 bouncers ran into me, spilled my drink all over my white shirt and when I said WTF they said STFU) and the general vibe was totally off balance and just not a fkn "HERE WE GO, ITS DIGWEED TIME MOFOS!!!" which is what I was looking forward to. I attribute the lack of vibe due to the actual people who were there but most importantly, to the people who weren't there (that is to say, MY FRIENDS). I didn't dance nearly as much as I would have, I didn't have an awesome time overall...The highlights of my night didn't even involve any people I knew (ok, except maybe for Vermz and Louis making me laugh so hard in their state they were in because I was feeling down a bit).

The highlight of MY night was meeting Diggers, chatting with him about Sasha (haha) and the excessively high demand for them in this city TOGETHER, taking some SICK videos and pictures of him mixing and finally, getting him to sign my Louis Vuitton handbag (retail value: 550$, my ex is gonna kill me LOL, he got it for me) and getting a nice lil picture with him too. I don't know how to post pictures/videos on TA (I have to host them 1st or something???) but I'll work on getting those pics up in here...Promise

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
My a$$ was waiting in the OLD FKN PORT from approximately 7:30pm - 12:10am before I was even let in to the club. It finally happened, I got in, I semi-enjoyed the night even though there were big-time fuck-ups. And I got to meet Diggers...so, ummm...YA!

...

I am going back to this club ONLY because they have LAWLER on the 12th of October (my fav. DJ) AND SANDER on the 2nd of November (MY #3 DJ)...My point is that it's still about the music for me, always has been, and I will NEVER miss an opportunity to see ANY DJ who is in my top 5. I'd pay 100$+ to see any of my top 5 DJs spin in a box for fuck sakes! They aren't here every fkn month guys...That's why I'll go again. To see the DJ and hear his mix.

I'm not saying anything else, cuz it seems lots has already been said by other TA members. I don't aggree with EVERYTHING that has been said but I definitely don't disaggree with a lot of things either...that being said, once again, I'm really sorry for everyone (especially my friends and ESPECIALLLLLLLLLLLY Brendan )...that didn't get in, it really was a nice, banging set...something I'm sure everyone waiting would have thoroughly enjoyed.

Peace Love and House Musak !

Aria used too back in like what 2003 / 2004. See where that put them. Wtv Michal has a nice deep pocket, anything possible. Could be like this for many years or just for a short period of time.
