Yeah, but the problem is also that the first corner after the start/finish straight is fairly fast, it's taken in 3rd gear or something. Unfortunately the only way you can get a decent amount of overtaking in current F1 cars is: slow section of corners -> long straight -> wide hairpin.

the only overtaking takes place in the pit lanes nowadays, and at the start

Singapore night race looks pretty cool, hopefully they don't shit the bed in it's execution.

I think it should remain as the only one though, otherwise it's like a good SNL skit gone on too long. Too gimmicky.

Part of me thinks that even this is reaching, trying to do something wacky to increase interest. I think they should make the racing action-packed again...that might be a good start (I still say fewer winglets, but with slicks and ground-effect tunnels ftw!).

But hey, I'm hooked on this shit so I'll keep watching for sure lol

As for tomorrow's race, should be a good one.

Could Hamilton score a win?!?!

Yeh at first when i heard about the night race i was like WOW, but then after watching that vid we'll all just be watching cars go round and round the circuit with no overtaking hence a shit race, just aesthetically pleasing.

No idea who's gonna win tomorrows race, could be any of the front 4. BMW also look ready for a solid performance.

I'm surprised Jarno Trulli is so high, Robert has to watch out for him

Decent race.

The middle was boring except for the few retirements and the Honduhs tripping over eachother.

Great result for Sato. I wonder if Feces will get blasted by Flaviou again for not being able to catch him? The guys were on the radio several times telling him to go faster.

Great result for DC too!!

Getting into the meat of the season, the championship is looking like it will go down to the wire.

It was exciting at the begining, with all those retirements ( too bad not because of overtaking). The rest was pretty much boring.

A solid effort from my boy Kubica, too bad Nick didn't finish (it was a reverse situation from Australia's GP, where Robert had a gearbox problem). And what was up with that front wheel pit stop fiasco

Nice Flame show from Massa

Great job done by Coulthard

LOL, i loved that bit, one of the pit stop crew from the team next to BMW's garage picked up the wheel nut and was like "you guys might need this..."

yeah it was a toyota technician. He had a funny expression on his face. Some BMW pit crew member definatelly fucked up big time, it made little difference in the end, but still

Enjoyed the race, although there wasnt alot to get excited about..., had been a while since i was able to watch an entire gp. Got pretty pissed though by that spanish director who hardly showed massa.

Anyway, pretty confident bout ferrari, we should be able to win the drivers championship this year. 3 years would be too long tbh for this team.

ehhh i dont think so, looks like mclaren is strong in there as always... i think chances are 50/50

we are allready winning driver and team points... all we need is massa to crash 1 race and we will be all by ourselves on top
