i think i made my decision to go to Above & Beyond. not an easy choice. Turning down johan gielen and kyau & albert is really really hard. Just way to many negatives with the docks event.
IE. Possibility of shitty sound, 16+ (huge issue), rave like atmosphere (i hate the crossing of rooms with jungle music), $ costs double for the docks, late show (i can't afford late nights these days) so all those factors made the only possible solution a&b! either way great trance music will be heard! |
Your negatives are unfounded imo. The Docks has decent sound, the phazon is becoming toast, too much bass, not enough of anything else imo. The crossing of rooms with other styles of music is just being immature, does it really hurt you that much to walk through one room or wait until the trance gets played and hear housier or different music in the TA area? Also, not affording late nights, A&B will probably spin late as it is, a lot later than some of the Djs at the Docks.

it should be an easy choice for anyone browsing this forum... |
The TA room will be one of the better parties of the year. (People who constantly hit up the Guv 'super event' types WILL get bored of them eventually, but for now if you love them that's cool...)

May hit up both. It won't bother me as much if I don't see A&B because I've seen them a bunch of times, the TA party is ONLY once a year and is a virtually guaranteed amazing night and it's not even based on the djs in the main room IMO. |
+1
I'm definitely thinking about hitting up both
