yeah i agree but with softsynths u cant just dial em up and have em sound like that ready to go

All this is saying is that the Access people did a good job programming presets... if presets are available for softsynths like this, then yes you can just dial them up and have them sound like that ready to go.
A preset is a preset, whether it is for a softsynth or a hardsynth...

usually not with all the effect settings tho...which is very handy
