That actually isn't too bad of an idea. Cheaper (slightly) I'm sure, allows for all of the coastal TAs to be satisifed , and a scenic ride with some incredible views.

yeah thats why i suggested it. significantly cheaper because a 500mile journey may cost him $30-40 instead of 150 or so.

Yea, we got a little roomette on the way back from Love Fest San Fran last year. It was great because I didn't have to attempt sleeping in coach (which fucking sucked), but my God was it expensive.

lol yeah. i refuse to ever take the train if i can help it for long distances. i dont like that it takes 12-13hrs to go 500 miles when i can do it in half the time driving or 1/12th the time flying.
