Speaking of hair I dyed mine myself last nite because I needed a quick fix well big mistake!!
I had it like this but faded of course because red leaves fast
and now it's some shitty color & kinda fried my hair a little more. I'm going back to my stylist and redoing the red next week (not so smart but I refuse to have the color I have now much longer)
I figure a week is good lol.
Any advise on treatements I can use till then on this brittle hair of mine |
If your hair is fried DO NOT put more color on it!! Especially not more red. I have a friend who had the exact same thing happen to her, and she couldn't get the red out of her hair. Not even at a salon by a professional. Her hair looks like fucking shit now.
Seriously, wait it out. You're going to kill your hair more if you do that, I guarantee it. And I don't want to say I told you so. :/
I don't even know how your hairdresser could agree to re-color it if it's fried! I would definitely ask her/him(?) what you can do to re-condition it...but the shitty thing about hair is that it's already dead anyways, and once it's damaged really badly, there's sort of no going back, only growing it out.
I really like that color on you too, btw.
Oh! You know what you can try?? This:

I used to use it to keep my hair red. It's a color glaze, and it doesn't have harsh chemicals. Honestly, I would just use this for a little while rather than re-coloring your hair. After a few rinses with this stuff, the red will come back.
There's another shade that'd prolly better for your hair:
