Wow! I just saw SVD last night at Labour of love in Toronto and am coming down that weekend so i'm pretty excited. I was planning on hitting up Mansion for some Lawler action....LOVED his set in July.

Is there anyway to hit both of these parties? I'm not sure what times they are spinning...I know sometimes you guys have really late sets...please let me know when you guys get a chance because I don't want to miss lawler but damn SVD!

mansion closes early at 5am but thats not going to matter much. svd will probably play either 1-4 or 2-5 and the same with lawler to be honest with you.

unless you want to miss a part of someones set you really have no way of seeing both.

Well I've followed him since 2004 for mostly his productions which were first canned by PvD...his sound was always different and really good/refreshing because it wasn't this cheese puff crap. He had 3 other aliases and they all sounded different and even catering to other styles.

He's come a long way fast...he went from being not well known to basically blowing the fuk up. I got to see him twice this WMC & he proved he was just as good a DJ as a producer. He has great energy, is a genuinely nice guy [I got to meet him] and plays some banging ass music. He mixes it up too.

Just all around great DJ...IMO he has what a lot of other DJ's lack.

all that and of course his actual sets during WMC at the fifth and karu. of course many of his productions rock like hell too. not all, but most really do.

Im really not all that excited. I wouldnt go through listening of 3-4+ hours of SvD, but ill be there.


One thing I like about SvD is drinking on the set, if you see him with a Heinken it going to be a good night

same reason i guess people said pvd in nov05 sucked when it was by far the best pvd set ive ever heard.

some people just arent hardcore enough. im just playin so dont take me too seriously.
