No but seriously though, that's fantastic. You're lucky she was so responsive. A lot of 15 yr olds have that "well where have you been for the past 14 yrs then you ****!" mentality.

Does she live far from you or close?

She lives really close. Same house I used to live in, as a matter of fact. I was looking through her pics and commented on one saying "Wow, I remember that wallpaper!" LoL.


I think she might be freaked out now that it's had some time to sink in. Cause I feel a little weird about it all. It's just so surreal...and for me it brings back so many thoughts and feelings about my dad.

I just hope she's not feeling anger or anything towards her mother for not telling her. I really tried to stick up for my step-mom in that respect.

Why don't you just do coffee? Then it's not as scary because if she doesn't like you she can bail after 15 min haha

Bring a an empty briefcase to her house and pretend to sell her lotion.
Increments of contact, albeit very small, will ease her into your relationship.

Well I'm all for it, but like I said...I left it up to her. I'm not going to pressure her into meeting. When she's ready, I'm sure she'll be in touch.
