I disagree with that. I don't think everyone is a liar.

Maybe not everyone, but the majority of people are. Every last guy I know, even the most honest ones, will alter their number to appease the woman they are trying to date for fear of one thing: judgement.

Welp, sure makes it easier to weed out the people one who judges doesn't want then, doesn't it?

What a revelation. Here I was thinking Jay is a slut, now I come to find out everyone else is a slut.

This is true
I guess it all depends on your personality as well. (The person asking) Whether or not you're more laid back, or kind of high strung. (Not saying you are, though )

I don't think anyone really has said they were especially sexually active (except the ho barbina) - they're just expressing their opinions. In no way have I had a gazillion partners, I just don't think it's relevant to relationships.

I know I dont fudge the numbers when asked. I have a real low count due being in a long relationship. Its when the other people in the conversation start saying their numbers that it gets awkward for them not me. I usually get the responces Jay got when he said 5. When my friend said 53 I gave him a high five and his girlfriend raised her eyebrows. She started busting his balls about his past when they have been together for a year already. Up until that detail came out they were so in love....now shes digging into the past and hes scrambling to explain it. He shouldnt have to explain anything. This is still an issue they deal with. If this topic never came up, they would probably be married.

It's really about personal choice. You have to look at it from both points of view. If he had been honest and upfront about his sexual past from the beginning of the relationship, then she might have not felt the need to dig in time after time. As the subject has never been brought up before, she might feel he's now hiding subtle details from her, and now there's a lack of trust on her part.
On the other hand, the past is his business and what happened in the past should remain so, as it shouldn't affect the current relationship their in. Now it's become a big problem and something's gotta be done to rectify it.
