Closing CZ will have a minimal effect on the neighbourhood's 'sketch' factor.
Nevermind the Waverly, or the Salvation Army's outreach centre in the same building - it's a sketchy area regardless. Sure, you might take care of the one or two nights a week when CZ contributes to the fray, but it's not going to magically clean up the area to shut down a club.
You could put a Christian used-goods bazzarre in CZ and that corner would still be sketchy.
And really - if the 'hood is too rough for your tastes, move.
