"Higher latency will have a better audio quality no matter what the setup"
this is wrong, it is illogical and if it was something a psychiatrist had previous knowledge in , he would start probing you for schizophrenia because you are displaying some overt symptoms. |
Do you have a test that shows a correlation between higher latency and audio quality deterioration.
I suppose a CPU going just fast enough to render the audio perfectly, will also cause quality deterioration if the CPU was faster?
The only thing you have going for your argument is that lower latency makes the sound come out faster. I don't recall any algorithms where 'Speed = Quality'. Infact, in general, the longer something is allowed to process a thing, in general the higher the quality.
If anything, your argument proves that going above what is needed is redundant. Which is absolutely equal to "it doesn't matter what it is once it is passed a certain threshold"
Debating with you guys is funny because your logic is just BOOM, BLAM, KERPOW, SHERSPLAT, ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! :P
