Not usually though, and they were hand customized by Quested as well. You should see what the mixes are done on

@ritchie, I don't think there are any photos of it but it's really not much to look at anyway. Yes, it's intense in terms of what it's made up of but nothing aesthetically pleasing as such.

Consider the source LOL. That blade he's slitting his throat with must be pretty dull because he's been at it for a while

Hans Zimmer must not have been big in the 90's so he's obv worthless!

It's just crazy that anyone can find anything bad to say about Hans with all of the amazing work he has done.

alot of people have alot of bad things to say about Hans. Most of them are the older crowd that witnessed the disappearing leitmotives, minimal orchestration and overly simplistic tonal colour that coincided with Hans and the blockbuster movie type. He isn't particularly talented as a composer and is more known for his use of orchestral and electronic sounds combined which worked well for the type of movie that was being made at tbe time. I think he revolutionized the industry in both good and bad ways.

That is kind of the norm for a groundbreaking act no matter what industry it is in. People (Like Steven just showed) get jealous of their possessions and success and then talk badly about people.

All I know is I never knew who was behind movie scores until I heard of Hans Zimmer.

I think that last sentence you stated describes things perfectly (now that I am more in the know). I enjoy his work but I am sure he is far from the most talented composer.

Ah, my mate hanz. I love the guy, I was having lunch with hans the other day, and I said, hans, I love referring to you by your first name, how could anyone every say anything bad about you. You've revolutionised the industry mate. I mean, you only seem to know how to play minor and major chords, but still, you know how to make a synthesiser sit well with a violin, so that counts for something right!

Honestly, I don't mind hans zimmer, but its far from complex. I'd say someone like Hybrid or Harry gregson Williams (love him) has a far better grasp of how to use an orchestra in that context, their stuff is far more complex than Hans zimmer's IMO.
Richie put it perfectly, his use of tonal colour is very simplistic. I'm very over that type of music.
