Yea, I don't know why, my brain is fucking up this morning. I kept putting a ' in wont too.. There isn't even a version of that word that has an apostrophe in it!

God damn it, its not even morning. I need to get off whatever timezone I am in.

When I say there are multiple entities biting at the bit to get it, I mean potential customers, both government and private (some of them who originally approached us for partnerships).

Would you say that even the near-future is in radio technology, though?

The future of programming is in social networking. All coders, go develop webapp games and bow down to Mark Zuckerberg.

So how many copies of other people’s games will you have to sell before you’re out of the basement and living like a real adult?

What do you mean? That radio technology is not going to be relevant in the future?

If thats the case then you would be very wrong. Look at anything "wireless". That is all radio technology.

I can't imagine anything other than radio being useful in a military setting either. Any sort of physical medium is prone to sabotage and destruction, and it is why we moved away from running battlefield phones as much as we could have after WW1. Radio allows elements to work independently of any physical infrastructure, and when coupled with satellite relay allows them to transmit huge distances with ease.

The only other medium I could see (which is still electromagentic radiation, the same as radio) would be over the air optical networks, but those require direct line of sight and are not able to "multicast" like a traditional radio network (as in you have to aim it at the receptor, much like highly directional radio system).

Radio is highly important and will be till something like quantum teleportation or some other means of remotely changing physical properties negates the need for an actual medium between two locations (and since I do not see that happening in any significant fashion for hundreds of years its not really a problem business wise for me ).

Some of the radio systems I work with are actually pretty neat though. For example radios like the AN/PRC-343 or similar radios use ad-hoc 802.11x mesh networks to communicate voice data. Even the larger radio systems use a traditional network topology, though usually with some pretty heavy data rate penalties (more so when doing electronic counter-countermeasures).

Thats the thing, they are already sold. Australia is the home of it actually and one of the largest users of the platform.

NATO is also a user, which is tens of thousands of seats across multiple countries.
