very true. i did it once for the shm masquerade motel in 2011. bought at 50, sold at 200ish. but one of the buyers didnt go until late and had issues at the door cuz it was at capacity so he did a claim with stubhub where i sold the tix through and they took their money back. weird thing was stubhub had already deposited it in my bank account but they charged my credit card the amount they had deposited. all they were willing to do was return the tickets so i could do a claim with wantickets and get the original 50 back. instead i put in a claim with my credit card company that i didnt authorize them to charge me that and i won.
but still the hassle almost didnt make it worth it. thats why im reluctant. if everything works, great, no problem. i win, the buyer wins. i would never sell fake tickets so as long as they get in theyll be happy. but if something goes wrong. that stress blows.
a bit of extra cash this wmc wouldnt be bad though.... thats why this is so tempting. |
I don't deal with websites. Don't feel like giving them my money for my risk. I only deal with cash in hand. I always meet up in public places since you never know the person. Sucks about the charge back, at least the card company blocked it.

A lot of artists today are just victims, not having control, and they're not free. And that's pathetic. If you start being dependent on money, then money has to reach a point to fit your expenses. - Thomas Bangalter
