Bottom line: I went because I thought it would be good, it wasn't. I'm not on a Tiesto bashing mission, if I didn't like him I wouldn't have gone in the first place. If you only want to read good reviews then go to the tiesto.com forums instead.
I didn't enjoy it because it was just an 8 hour Tiesto set with some live PA's. Maybe I'm spoiled but I've seen Andain and Jan Johnson do live PA's before, I've seen Tiesto many times, I've been to large indoor events before, I've been to events in Holland before. I expected this to be something special, I expected to see and hear things I've never experienced when clubbing. None of this happened, I came away disappointed.
If you find that difficult to deal with then it's your problem mate |
/me looks for the 'go spad' flag
I gotta admit, and I've spoken about this to x-hale & spad in chat too, I got the feeling it'd be more of a 'concert' as the name said, more live stuff like Rank 1 have done in the past, and Transa also, but it seems like an overhyped DJ set, like he plays weekly plus 2 PAs, it doesn't seem to have done what it said on the tin to me
