My Outer Body Experience
Jeff Zapata, New York, USA
I had weird experience 2 years ago when I was visiting my parents on the tropical island of Puerto Rico. Mind you I am in no way the type to have hallucinations but what happened to me on that September night must have been one.
It's still hard for me to believe it really happened. It was a beautiful starry filled night at my parents house and the time was about 10 PM. I went out to the front of house which rests on a large grassy hill. I glanced up to the night sky and began to get a weird feeling. The kind of feeling you get when something bad is about to happen. Part fear, part shock, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I started to feel light headed yet quite relaxed after the initial shock.
The next thing I knew I was floating above my standing body, slowly rising above my parents house. The thing I remember the most was a feeling of glory. It felt like I knew everything there was to know. I started rising higher and higher and started speeding in almost a blinding light straight up into space. It felt like I was traveling a long distance because the stars were warping past me. Eventually I stopped in the dead of space. But somehow I felt I was in a big room. I can't tell you how comfortable it felt (it almost makes me want to cry as I write this).
At this time I felt like I've been there before and the experience not that strange. As if it was home. Then I noticed prism colors all around me. These colors were clouds that seemed to surround me as if I was being judged by a tribunal. The clouds felt like old friends, I knew somehow they were people. Just when I started to hear what they were saying I began zooming down the same way I went up. Almost as if I was dismissed. The next thing I knew I was covered in mud face-down about 10 feet from where I was originally standing.
When I walked back in the house my girlfriend and my parents noticed my flushed face. I just told my girl friend what happened and not my parents. I was scared my parents would think I was smoking something. So there you have it. Besides my girlfriend I never told this story to anyone else. Can you blame me?

HELP! I experienced an exceedingly frightening episode. I suddenly found that I could not think and it was like my head was racing uncontrollably. Everything around me was in disarray. I did not know what on earth was happening. I thought I must have ended up in hell or somewhere! There was an increasing pressure inside my head and the pressure became so bad that it felt like my head might 'explode' if it did not stop. My vision was not quite right images did not appear to join up properly, and I just could not think properly at all. I could not believe that I was still conscious with all this going on, I thought I was going to collapse on the floor, it was as if something was pulling me down inside. I had to die, how could I still be alive it was so horrendous! Oh why couldn't I have just died.
I shouted out 'Help' desperate for it to stop. I tried to walk but my legs felt like jelly, and my co-ordination was all wrong, where was I going? I sat down and found it almost impossible to talk and try to explain what was happening. I t was as if all that was left was only half of my brain on the left side, the right side had completely 'malfunctioned' and was tingling, after a few minutes which felt like a lifetime my head gradually stopped racing. I may have had a headache, but it would not have been my initial main symptom.
For two months afterwards, I went through hell, I had increased pressure in my head and developed bad headaches and was very confused. My thinking processes had gone completely 'haywire'. I was still alive, but my brain was virtually 'kaputt'.
This was all I presume as a result of this initial experience when I thought my head was going to explode. I did not go to see a doctor til at least a week later when I developed a fever as well, as I did not know what a doctor would think if I tried to explain that my head felt like it was going to 'explode'!
Please can someone perhaps give an idea what this terifiying event could have been, as I don't know of anyone describing something like this without having experienced a severe headache.
I desperately need some answers.
