am Mixes are just remixes of the original by the artist of the original and are supposed to be used as 'party-play' and are generally energetic songs.

my known am mixes (sorted by time ):
marco v - certainly (darren christian 1am mix)
mauro picotto - like this like that (3am mix)
solange - messages (4am mix)
system f - out of the blue (system f's 5am mix)
