are the stages inside the arena itself or just in the surrounding buildings?

the venue is called RAI. It is a huge exhibtion center with multiple buildings.




this is the floorplan of 2002. As you can see the walking distances are pretty big, also there is an (clockwise) one-way walking rule.
If you are at hall numer 7 and you want to go back to number 9, you first have to walk hall number 3. then 4, 5,6,7 --> 9. At the innercity site you can find the 2004 floorplan.
