Sure the heavy heads would love it because they have their own little secret (try getting a backpacker to tell you what his playlist is. They LOVE to keep true Hip Hop to themselves to avoid the underground from becoming tainted) Truly I dont get your post at its core Glowstick. Hip Hop is a more commercially viable market in the US (as well as other markets). Most of the EDM influenced tracks have a heavy radio/club play. Which means even though people may not have heard the original they may wanna hear what the song came from. All of a sudden you have someone that never knew about Daft Punk becoming a fan of their music because of Kanyes "Stronger" or Busta Rhymes "Touch It" (for ex). From there they may venture deeper into EDM and here isn another person that develops a love for a new genre simply because they heard a song that sampled. And if you actually knew Hip Hop you can blame Lil Jon for the current influx of EDM influenced rap beats. Now to the matter at hand If EDM was in my hands. Id keep it on the same track its on right now. Theres the truly deep side of EDM that requires some digging to get to for the purist and the true heads. Theres enough music that tends to draw people into the genre. There is an oversaturation of "DJs" but its simply becuase its SO much easier to get exposure now then it was in the formative days. Theres varieties of every spice and flavor. Its all in the natural evolution of things and to be honest I like the track that things are on. BTW ive said this before to the Bitchers and the Whiners that "EDM is being ruined". You think you can do better than one of the big names. THEN DO IT. Dont come up with an excuse of "well i dont have to prove myself to you or anyone else i know im better"..... obviously you aernt doing a damn thing besides getting a big gulp of haterade in your system. But thats the case in any genre. In hip hop people claim they can spit hotter than this guy on the radio/make better beats.. EDM this Dj such and such can produce a better song/mix a better set then Deadmau5 but has never even done a house party to start....

Ok fine, I'll make EDM more popular and Soulja Boy type rap less popular. The songs with talent can be as popular but that "Low" stuff can just die. Yes, your right, I don't know anything about hip-hop never looked it up or anything because a lot of it is ridiculous like Flo Rida stuff. This is what the world is made out of...
