Without getting into tooooo much details... GK ROCKED MY WORLD IN BRISBANE..........

Matt Hardwick, Played some slower nice progressive trance last night! Not all progressive, but definately PERFECT to start the night off!! Playing the Sean Tyas Got Piano Remix of Insigma was sweet! Great DJing, way to work up the crwod, definatley a MUST SEE!!!!

Abovy & Beyond - Awesome awesome set!! I foundit to be kinda generic at times, but still had the crowd pumping. Played loads of new stuff and a few oldies, many track titles not coming to me... as you'll understand we heard SO MUCH GOOD MUSIC throughout the night Gong from super super uplifting trance into dark electro/tech trance. Didn't play an of the classics I like and know them for, but definately put on a fantastic show!!

Eddie Halliwell - OMFGHALLIWELLISAFOOKINGGOD!!! I had no idea what to expect from this guy, I just heard he was amazing! mixing out of A&B last track, he was scratching out of it and started with some nice hard tech trance. The man is a FREAKING MASTER in the booth. Works the cdj's and mixer like nothing I've ever seen! Playing everything in the way of SVD - Direct Dizko to Ronski Speed - Incognition. By the end of his set, we had already heard a few repeat track, but who the f*ck cares.. Eddie made each and every track HIS OWN!!! working the crowd, pumping everyone up, really tweaking every knob in sight, making buildups last for ages, dropping track when you wouldn't expect, etc etc. I couldn't get enough of Eddie Halliwell! I sat in the same spot for all 3 acts at this point, and there was no way I was even thinking about leaving while Eddie was on. Perfect view of watching all his tricks and techniques. SYDNEY... GET TO THE UPPER LEVEL @ HOME, AND WATCH THIS GUY!!!! I don't have enough goo dthings to say about this guy! Definately stole the show!!

Cosmic Gate - It's been 6 long years I've waited to finally hear and meet these trance icons!! As I read before, Cosmic Gate definately DID NOT play an old school set!! Yes, they played a few tracks that were old(er), but the set itself was TOP NOTCH. Started out really slow and proggy, nice basslines and simple melodies, but it wasn't long before the hard tech trance started filling the room. The last 3 tracks they played was PURE GOODNESS. Punk (Cosmic Gate Remix), I Feel Wonderful, & finish with Exploration of Space!!! Track of the night though was definately White Sands - Sunlounger... I think that's what it was called. As soon as it came on, Nic looked over at me, and I lost it! While the whole track played, he kept looking over and I could do nothing but express the joy I felt through my facial expression. The perfect track at the perfect time!! I requested their remix of Diving, but they didn't have it. Should Havee Known & Consciouness sounded sweet on a live system too!!

:-) going to this tonight. Must remember to sleep beforehand...

Did anyone notice that Gatecrasher 2006 has already been announced and tickets are available? Seems to have been announced silently...although ticketek are already selling tickets.
