My 2003 Mercury Marauder. My pride and absolute joy. Yes, my license plate does say NU-NRG. You won't believe how many people see my license plate and at first, they don't understand what it means. so when I saw it's pronounced "new energy", they say "Oh ok! Yeah that's pretty clever and it fits you! You're always full of energy!"
Actually I think most people on TA can believe that statement....
Sometimes the bastards ask me if I'm running on natural gas or some other kind of renewable energy source. Huh? no I have to put premium only, 93 octane or higher! Crazy bastards....
The third pic is tailgating for the first Virginia Tech football game last September (2007).

Reminds me of a time I was wearing a Michael Jordan jersey and some dumb bitch asked me if my last name was "Jordan", cause that was her last name too...
It's from 1995, made of plastic and looks like a giant dust-buster.

Nice!! I used to have a Mk1 1990 (built in 89) MX5 that I ran in winter rallies and auto-cross.
I sold it when I moved over here and miss is huge.
Does yours have the 1.6 or 1.8 motor?

Its the california edition so its a 1.8 s spec. What the s stands for i dont know I would have been happy with 1.6 I just loved how they look.
Says special edition indide the door frame though only noticed after ahving it a year. Do you know how to get a bass speaker in them the boot is so small?
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

The SE will probably be the colour - British Racing Green isn't one of the base colours and was only offered in certain years. There will have been a few other options involved, depending on how the original owner spec'd it from the dealer (power windows, glass rear window with de-fogger, power locks etc.).
The best way to get more bass is either to put a pair of good 6x9's or 6" round speakers into the package shelf behind the seats (will need to do some cutting), or just get really good door speakers. Trust me, good door speakers in this car will do wonders.
Other options include a custom sub box that sits on an angle in front of the passenger seat. It actually is quite a clean install and doesn't get in the way at all.
Putting a sub in the boot is kid of useless in this car since the boot is fully seperated from the rest of the car (unless you run a half-assed pair of pvc drain pipe boom tubes from the sub box in the boot around the gas tank to the front).
I've had these cars apart down to the bare shell, so if you have any questions or need tech help, just shoot me a pm
Here's a few pics of my old ride:
