See this shit right here is why this subject can get so heated amongst couples. If shes going to be upset of just hearing how many partners, why does she stir the pot further by asking about details? It was totally too soon for them...but they wont listen to reason. They are in love after all. ( I think it was doomed from the start but I wont tell him that)

That was a different time though. So much has changed since then. I think it will be really rare as we get older to hear of marrages that are 50+ years and still going.
