A Godless world only promotes the time we spend on this earth as apposed to the afterlife. A Godless world only focuses on the material gains of life instead of the spiritual gains. There is a big difference between Institutionalized religion and being spiritual, or believing in God and his three prophets and that's what all these atheist's cant get through their heads. Instead of focusing on the main message of all the great Religions, which is basically treat people and yourself with respect, people focus on the institution. Has it ever been a secret that the leaders of the most powerful governments and movements have been corrupt? People forget that its MAN that has plagued this world, not God. In no great book does it say go off and wage wars in God's name and spread the word and force people into believing. No. Men have taken religion and used it as a weapon, a weapon with far greater strength than any bomb. The one thing I will say, is that the belief that Jesus is God's son is the most mistaken and mislead pieces of information, probably ever. The New Testament was only created after a council agreed upon what should be allowed to be in it. Don't you find it funny that after The "Jews" complained that Jesus was falsely preaching, The "Romans" were more than glad to beat him to a point until you could no longer recognize him and then The "Holy" Roman Empire is the one to spread "Jesus'" teachings across Europe and eventually into the New World (North America). Not to mention that the symbol of Christianity is of their savior being crucified. It is blasphemous paganistic worship of the Sun God, Ra, who has been worshiped for thousands of years since the Egyptians. And do you know what happened to the pharaohs of Egypt? Did they disappear? No, the bloodlines run today and branch out to every royal family there is today, including the British monarchy, the bush family, Obama etc.. Open your eyes people. The war isn't in Iraq, Or Iran, Or Gaza, It's within yourself. You don't believe in Religion fine. But look at the sunset one day, and all the beauty in this world and tell me that its an accident due to a big bang billions of years ago that people can only theorize about. |

lol proven? hahahahahaha, Religious people believe in something that happened a few thousand years ago, you believe in something that happened 6 billion years ago. God or no God, who's been fooled into believing now. |

I am but I'm totally serious as well. People believe what is fed to them in that point in time. Just as people went from believing that the earth was flat, to people believing in God, to people believing This shit was created Billions of years ago out of nothing. I'm not saying that its wrong, cause I don't know, just as millions of us just don't fucking know anything. We can say we know, we can be told that what we know is right, but in truth we really don't know much. Theory's are theory's..just a collection of facts related together in order to make the MOST sense in that point in time. Just as was done thousands of years ago, and is done today. I bet you anything that people in thousands of years will look at our civilization and laugh at the things in we believed in. This is just the trend that keeps on happening. I have nothing against knowledge and knowing things and exploring the possibilities, but its its accepting certain knowledge and treating it as truth/reality is when things get tricky. People have been fooled throughout history so it comes down to ones ego to accept that maybe, beyond a reasonable doubt that what we know isn't 100% true. |

Never did I say I believed that. I make my own truth because that's all you can do in this sick world we live in. I refuse to be a part of something or an idea just because that's what the general public thinks, aside of supposed "proof" of such theories. Until I see a youtube video of some anti-matter exploding and creating the universe I will not accept it as 100% truth because I can't really be sure, no one can, not even the scientists who propose these ideas. History has proven countless times that the masses are lead to believe things through propaganda whether they are the right things to believe in or not. So I will go on by making my own truth from what I gather and learn over time. For me, truth of creation comes not from the things man have created like cars and spaceships and computers, but from nature and our body (which is the most complex collection of systems that exists). |
Fellow TA's I am pleased to announce that we have a new village idiot amongst us.
