Ania woke up nine hours later, scattered vision, staccato, yet uneven steps. The linoleum but an icy maze now, a vast expanse stretching between where she was and where her belongings were.
"This was impossible" was her first thought she could muster, but even that was stretched and nearly incomprehensible.
A rough, unsettling feeling traveled down her forehead and all the way down her sternum, through her lungs, forming an uneasy habitat at the base of her stomach. She keeled over the side of the deflating twin sized air mattress with what appeared to be rust stains and vomited until she felt wholly depleted. Slowly things began to reattach of the events that had past. It was disjointed , like vibrant, inane clawing upon a door while trying to escape.
She attempted to move her arm upward to stretch out a shooting pain that hit her shoulder sharply, but noticed her mobility was limited. She heard a chain faintly striking the linoleum floor in her attempt.
She was chained to the floor.
Suddenly a pa crackled overhead...

Suddenly a pa crackled overhead... | this story and your post about comparing the song Drops of Jupiter to a rapist and made a wonderful story out of it - is why I would never bang you.
I need you to stay here.
