What in the fuck are you talking about? The UN? NATO? It's only human nature to form alliances in order to project power that one state alone could not do. Assuming you're referring to NATO, since you conveniently left that part out, nations like Georgia and Ukraine are falling over themselves to join that alliance. And any state is more than welcome to leave or not join at all. i.e. Switzerland and France.

You can print fiat money endlessly, as they have been for the past 100 years.
