Isn't Batshit Crazy

i can't believe im saying this...... but im actually going to a gym tonight..... i finally caved to peer pressure (relentless nagging by the gf) and commited to shedding 40 pounds of hard earned molson muscle and hit a target of my grade nine weight of 180 (i dont htink i have been below 210 since i was in grade 10... and im almost 26 so it has been a while)

I guess its probably a good thing. Im meeting with a personal fitness instructor at goodlife tonight to work out a routine to achieve my goal. I am really worried they are going to tell me i have to quit drinking, I dont know if i could handle that kind of news.

lol I used to have the same problem before I pretty much gave up drinking in favor of drugs. Its next to impossible to lose weight while drinking heavily. Back then I was drinking 15-18 beers a night, 3 nights a week. Assuming that a beer has at least 100 calories you are talking another 4500-5400 worthless calories a week you have to get rid of. That is a lot of fucking cardio.

Get ready to puke, and they will tell u to quit, but I haven't and I keep losing on my cutting phase. 90% of weight loss is diet, so no more sodas and sugars of any kind, and eat a high protein, low Carb diet and it will come off quick. Hit the weights hard and throw in Cardio at the END if u still have any energy. BTW, do not stop eating. You need to eat for the weight to come off!

i stopped eating shit a year ago, i dont remember the last time i ate sweets or drank pop, and my diet is pretty protein heavy as it is, i eat alot of steak, fish, chicken and cheese. not much carbs really. my only guilty pleasure is beer, and i drink alot of it....

why cardio at the end?

so your not tired before u lift weights. The benefits of cardio stop (calorie usage) as soon as u stop doing the activity, whereas with weights, the muscles continue to burn calories while u sleep and they repair.

do you get any speedy upper type effects from them like you did with xenedrine back when it had ephedra in it or just weight loss? Two months ago I was out of speed a day before I could refill my script and I was fucked trying to stay awake on red bull. Back in the day I would have just ate like 5 or 6 of those xenedrine but I didn't bother because I didn't figure they worked anymore without epehdra.

No I was never old enough to buy an ephedra product when it was legal Um I don't really remember getting any side effects just cut fat off faster and been able to keep it off. Never was to fat to begin with just needed a quick 10 to turn to muscle.I wish I wouldve kept the rest of the bottle, but whatever..

Just got done doing chest *rawr* love the pump im getting from the NO2 has me lifting like a beast. I feel like ripping a babies head off

you are burning calories regradless whether your lifting wieghts or not when you sleep.. But muscle repair would obviously use up more energy as your body needs to repair more.


I agree with cardio at the end of the workout. A warmup of about 5 minutes cardio is good for the pre workout to get warmed up as well.

If you feel that weights make you more tired try cardio at the beginning. It can work either way.. For muscle building though i would suggest cardio after.

for muscle building i would suggest no cardio at the same time as weights. wtf mang?

do weights 3 times a week, with cardio on the off days. either that or do it in the mornings (after breakfast of course). if you need to do cardio more than 3 times a week, your diet is shit.
