It took me nearly five days to post a review but I'll make it short and sweet.
-After years of waiting to see this guy I expected better. Don't get me wrong.. it was good, but not as good as I thought it would be (the set that is) He's still an amazing amazing dj to me, but I wish he played more of what he plays on his compilations etc. etc. It's always good to hear new stuff but some of the songs kindof irritated me and I found to be kindof cheesy like that song w/ the guy singing but it wasn't in english. IT was like he was chanting in another language or something. I think he played it twice. Know what I'm talking about ? - wasn't my cup of tea. I don't know.. I liked about 75 % of the trakcs he played which is pretty good.
-Thank you pvd for playing "Modulation - Spirits"
-Thank you pvd for signing my arm band (the only thing I could get on stage at the time)
-Overly crowded, but not really surprised
-It was nice to see you all - although I'm not sure if some of you could SEE me. hahah .. *cough*
-I wish I got more pics
-John I'm not a fucking Gina ASS!
Everyone seemed to have had an amazing night, but I didn't have such a great night - maybe because I was overtired.. who knows. Sometimes I feel like I'm losing touch w/ the music and I'm not as interested anymore. IT really sucks, so my reviews are pretty much depressing
I still love trance w/ my heart and soul, that's the only music I work on (production wise), and I still listen to it mostly all the time, but I can't take these long nights out anymore.. the standing for 6 hours, the sweat, the lack of oxygen - annoying people stepping on my feet or pushing me. I know it happens but I leave a club now wishing I never went in the first place. I don't regret going to pvd at all.. like I said I wanted to see him for a really long time, and I'm glad I finally did, and I'm glad I saw all the TA's. - things change in life, and it's like no matter how hard I try and have a good time at an event like that I feel exasperated (spelling ) after like 3 hours and I seem to get very very bored. My mind also tends to drift when I'm out and I start thinking about my daughter Chloë and wonder if she's ok, then I start to miss her and I just want to leave. haha.. sounds gay but true. IT never used to be like that w/ me. Ugh.. *blabbing*.. I just found that this night made me see that I'm out of the loop. If I had the time, I would party every weekend and go out and see all these dj's like most of you do - but I can't.. so when I do eventually go it feels weird to me. Anyways.. all in all it was good, and I still love pvd.
-Sarah
p.s. so much for short and sweet

You didn't enjoy Wondervoll by Wolfsheim?!? That's cool. When I heard it, I started to bounce up and down like a bunny rabit! (No offense Joker!) Sorry to hear that you weren't into it 100%! There are times when I'm not into it either, I just usually choose to stay in on those nights. For PvD, I almost felt like that, I was at Armin the night before, hadn't gotten much sleep, spent the whole day eating turkey with my family... drinking some vino! That had my energy levels a little low. When that first track dropped though, so did every other thought in my mind! I just went with it! Amazing...

hey Sarah, I really wished that I could hav chilled a bit more with you and Sonny last Sunday ..
you're right, things aren't the same anymore and with time come changes. TOTA used to be quite an intimate group of people, but we've certainly grown and it's becoming increasingly difficult to get to know everyone well now. You've also changed a lot too because of Chloe, but don't let that hold you back in any way. I'm sure when she grows up she'll be happy to know that she had such a grooovy mom ..
