That's Adon Olivier - Casa Bulga. His name is Andre Olivier Berger. I asked him on facebook years ago and he never responded. There's definitely a similar sound.

Interesting, so it's possible that there are multiple versions of this song, probably all CD-Rs, never officially released.

Bad news again, out of curiosity I messaged Proton Radio if they have the tracklist of that set by Release Records. I saw on their YT channel that they upload old mixes and sometimes they put up the tracklist...well, not the case with this one sadly - they don't have it.

It's rough... ._.

I don't have anything important to say to aid the search, but I find it interesting that on both occasions we hear this track playing, it is either preceded or followed by the same track: Quest - Bass Trap. What if they were both part of the same demo/track pack and it was a spontaneous decision by both Sasha and the Forward crew to play both tracks consecutively?

Apparently, it's a "white label promo from Release Records" from 2003, unfortunately, there is no sample of this record anywhere.

Here's another release by Duality, a track called Reflection also from 2003:

It's a tech house track with a similar structure as the ID brought up by V0lk4n00 a few posts earlier, which is, undoubtedly, THE track, only lacking the acapella. While the Reflection track doesn't resemble it too much, the bassline we can hear from 4:29 onwards sounds pretty similar to it. I could very well be completely off here, in fact, I pretty much definitely am, but I still find it worth sharing with others.
