ok i am going to clear things up a bit for anyone who's confused....

there was always 2 "tranceaddict" groups on AG....
the original "tranceaddict" was taken by someone who wasn't really involved with TA that much, and had a completely different theory as to sending rules, etc... on that group anyone could send anything, etc.... you wouldn't be suprised if you received system f- out of the blue to your satellite... and anyone could join

so we created "tranceaddict.com" several months ago for tranceaddicts of this site to have our own group... this group was more specific, only new or rare vinyl rips of high quality allowed (basically a new releases group)....

this thread was CREATED for tranceaddict.com... please see the first post! this group was founded and operated by the Moderators and Operators of this site.... the joining rules for this group was more strict, you HAD to be a TA member, and post on this thread, etc...

Zing was fortunate enough to capture the original "tranceaddict" name back for us, so that is why that group is seeming like the new "tranceaddict.com" name.... However, the original founders of "tranceaddict.com" did not realize the new ownership of "tranceaddict", and had re-created tranceaddict.com .... unfortunatley they made a mistake when forming it, so they created:
tranceaddict.com #2...... again, this group is not meant to undermine the other tranceaddict group... just a continuation of a group that was already in existence...

The main difference i guess is that the tranceaddict.com #2 group is specialty-built for new/rare releases at high quality, whereas tranceaddict you can send anything that means something to you....

I can't say we should pick-and-choose.... just join both groups if you really like.... both were built for different purposes in the first place, and the point of this thread was to promote tranceaddict.com #2 as that site is run by the moderators of this site, so they make it a sticky.....

Yes we'd like everyone and everything to be together in one group, but the fact is that everyone wants something different... some people don't like to have their satellites barraded (see: Tranceaddict.com #2), and some do.... (see: Trance Overload).

We have to find a happy medium here somewhere and resolve this before any fighting takes place

theres no arrogance involved.. as ABT quite rightly said, we all want different things.. one thing i dont want is old tunage which had done the rounds in the day of the stoneage..

+ trancEaddict.com #2 is only there because we couldnt delete the one which DT had got (to keep the name because i was nowhere near at the time).. he did me a favour.. but i dont think he wants the hassle of running the group..

right, due to the confusion weve got about 34785624 groups on the go lol...

trancEaddict.com #2 is for new/rare stuff
TrancEaddict is for everyday sends etc etc..

please make sure u have the rules through your head before applying... and also we arent mindreaders, so even if u were in the group before plz still do as it asks..
