In my opinion, PvD's set @ the 4th of July was way more epic and rocking then he's set @ space.. he played what was expected, oh yeah, lots of new material, not much impressive.. I guess that the classic's with he's remixes were the ones that sort of braught me into mad crazyness.. as well as some of those few techno like tracks that sound good @ the space system. Other then that it was pretty much what's to be expected from him.. maybe listening to he's 4th of July set sort of raised the bar for him that night at space, which he was not able to pass.. but that doesnt mean I didnt have fun, I had a great time eitherway, it doesnt mean he's set sucked or anything, just nothing WOW for me.. EdgarV's set though was so trancey and epic.. though I was allready dead from dancing to Edgar's opening set and PvD's set.. I just couldnt handle. Anyone that was around me knows that I was dancing for the whole freaking set hehehe of PvD's hehehe.. and what is with PvD playing all thise Marc van Linden stuff?!?!.. I mean, he's old stuff was pretty much CHEEEESEEEEEEE... Marc van Linden - Another Dimension << Use to hear this on power 96 hehehe.. well is great to see Old School producers coming back and producing ;-). But hey, that's me, I tend to have a blast with any trance DJ that hits space.. let it be Ferry, PvD, Tiesto, Mauro.. or even the tribal house ones, Ive been getting into it more and more.. I love Cedric, he was ripping it @ the terrace.. different ambient, still fun hehe.. ( especially the chicks oh my! ) |
i agree, and like i said i thought pvd's set this time around was the best one of seen of his at space. i guess i really missed out on the 4th of july set, it seems to me that pvd seems to have a flair for the outdoors, he's rocked at every Ultra ive seen, i think he really brings his best for outdoor events, imho...but yeah the scenery on the terrace is second to none, i will be there this sunday morning as usual, sucking in all the sights and sounds....peace...
