im glad you said that and not me .... so il just add "im with you on that one"

although the only complications that may arise are that should liverpool lift the trophy and everton claim fourth who will be allowed to play in the CL. The fa will prolly give the nod to liverpool and i would like everton play in the CL next year ... on the plus atleast steven gerrard would still stay at anfield instead of adding to the growing list of abramovich's bitches

YEESH a liverpool - milan final's gonna be as boring as it gets ...both teams emphasise defence ... they might as leave the ball in midfield and have a picnic on their respective ends until the penalty shootout

unsophisticated football.

i LOVE liverpool. i have for years. today's game was unfulfilling. not bc of the lack of scoring, but the play itself. what was liverpool doing? "set plays" have not worked their last few uefa matches. those short corners were a waste!! they had, what? maybe three corners the whole match..and two of them were nowhere near the box. in fact, they didn't even get a metre from the corner!! and those free kicks with the 'decoy' oh, chelsea could have been blind and still have seen them coming. passes to no man's land...passes to chelsea, not even interceptions!! ugghh..fancy football isn't working for my reds. tactical football that benitezz is emphasizing, fine, whatever. just make sure these plays are sucessful...cuz chelsea is a strong team and this shit doesn't cut it.

i miss the days of fowler and macca...*sigh*

go reds go

They were trying not to lose, and they didnt.
Coaches/clubs for the most part dont care how attractively
they play, they just wanna win. Doesnt matter how.

0-0 was ugly but Liverpool got everthing they could hope for.
They're counting on winning @ home, and thats all they have 2 do

oh, i completely understand that they were trying not to lose. they played the same way today as they did against juve second leg. but beware of the away goal!!

as a fan, i like the esthetics of the game, too. i don't need a high score, but i'd like to see the skill they are capable of. i appreciate that side of the game. it's doesn't have to be all brasilian finess-like. watching keep away is meh.

sad but true ... but when you got a striker like shevchenko whos born to score goals ...its a bit disappointing when his teams style of play doesnt allow him to do that ... that guy prolly kiked his umbrical cord back into his moms uterus when he was born ...

plus you got kaka, seedorf and pirlo who like to bang them in... with a lineup like that its just weird milan dont play more offence considering their defence is unbreachable neway with maldini and nesta to take care of things ... a milan - chelsea final would actually be as good as it gets this year before Man U come back to claim whats theres

Stupid Milan...

Mind you, PSV had their chances, but just that lack of finishing touch hurt them. There's a chance that PSV might come back next week playing at home, if they can outrun and outwork Milan like last game. (And Vennegoor of Hesselink is fully fit)

Really surprised about the Chelski - Scousers game. Lampard should have had that header, but oh well. Should be very interesting game next week.
