Shootout! Jagr, who has been taking a bunch of shit in the media for not participating in the shootouts participated and missed but it was awesome anyway since he showed he is trying. As for the Penguins, Sidney was the 6th and final shooter with the previous 5 all missing. My friend tells me through the game "So Sidney doesn't impress me" and he proved himself by scoring in the five hole...surrounded by diehard Rangers fans I had to hide my excitement but I was very very very happy. I got to see Sidney win the game I have been to 8 Ranger games in the last month but this one was damn entertaining even though they lost.

too bad, crosby won't make any appearance in vancouver for the next couple of years, damn betman and his schedule. i really want to see ovechkin play, i love his hard hittiing and scoring attitude. if only the capitals surround ovechkin with a better support casts, will he be able to keep up with crosby and his crews in points and scoring. semin can be amazing but he has a whiney attitude.

yeah i really hate the nhl's scheduling. it is just not fair that most teams won't see crosby or ovechkin for YEARS, if they want to get the most out of their young superstars they need to market them leaguewide...living in the nyc area i'm lucky to have seen them play and will see sidney again soon. the avalache are my favorite team so i hate knowing i won't see them play in msg until god knows when and i would like to see anaheim play here soon too but that isn't a possibility. i am getting bored seeing the same damn teams come to town and i am sure i am not the only one...

^too many divisional games, i don't real like watching the wilds plays the canucks 8 or more times in a year.
some rangers fans embarass me, seriously! the other night was at msg listening to the crowed chant "shoot the puck" instead of "let's go rangers" or anything else positive. seeing people with jerseys booing their own team pissed me off. anyhow that is my rant i could never claim to be a fan if i buy season tickets, boo marek malik every game and boo the team when they aren't winning. i can't even imagine booing the avalanche...

oh i KNOW, i was looking at the standing today i think they are tied with vancouver as being the hottest teams in the nhl right now (8-1-1). of the next 5 games i anticipate colorado getting 6 points and i anticipate calgary losing their hold on the 8th spot especially since their schedule is more difficult...oh ain't this time of year grand!!!
oh and the rangers are in the playoffs now too so that's lovely.

yeah i hear that all the time. i know i sound a little nutty for saying this but i've seen the devils play against the rangers bunches of times this season and i'm kinda bored of that match up...plus brodeur is having a great season (excluding saturday cause he was drunk or something for st patty's day) and to have the hartford wolfpack against brodeur in the playoffs might not be interesting to watch at all. on a positive note word is that shanahan might be back for tomorrow's game, that would be hot.
