Only was able to make it to the SOS party on Thursday. Really hung-over wednesday afternoon due to heavy partying the night before, so I wasn't able to make it to the Canada love Miami pool party (God, I was so pissed about that stupid move). I was still planning on going to the Space Residents pool party on the following Sunday. But the bastards who threw that party decided to price gouge the hell outta tickets when we tried to get in (Normally, $40 went upto $150 just for entry). So we said screw it.
I was really happy with myself that I decided to go to SOS on thursday due to those turn of events.
As for how the music was. It was a 5+ Hour set, so it started off real slow. You know that typical Desyn groovy house at the beginning and played that way for about an hour. Stuff like Kingpin Cartel - Moogie Nights (though, I don't know if they dropped that particular track or not, just stuff that sounded like it).
They then started picking it up with some higher tempo Tech & Prog house.
Later in the evening they started throwing in some electro-house bangers and some of that real soulful funky house (love that).
Honestly, I couldn't ID one track that evening (which was a good thing).
Was easily the best night of the conference for me. Although, I've read mixed reviews about the show, I for one had a great time.
