The 350GT took the best of the GTV, which was basically the engine and general shape, and changed just about everything else. The bodies were produced using Touring's famous, patented Superleggera ('super-light') construction consisting of a framework of small tubes on which the aluminum panels were attached.

Early 350gts were fitted with a third seat in the rear to give 2+1 seating, although this was later replaced by an upholstered shelf for storage. The earlier cars also had one piece front bumpers and red Lamborghini badges that would give way to the now familiar black and gold.

The new car was introduced at the 1964 Geneva show in March to great reviews. Orders started to come in. Only thirteen cars were built that first year with estimates of $1000 being lost of each one, even at a $13,900 US sticker price.

- Lamborghini produced 120 350GTs, the last four constructed in 1967.

actually...the interior of that car is fuckin sick. i love the round dials in the display. the new bentley GT has a similar look...obviously more modern, but still keeping that classic style with a round breitling clock on the dash.

Why is that a reoccurring theme among Grand National Owners. I had 2 friends that did the same. I was able to drive one a few times and holy balls was that a beast.

Does anyone know the name of the early 90's TV show that centered around 1 silver car that had a ton of cool weapons and stuff on it?
