Easily one of the best sets I have heard from Above & Beyond to date.
Quick thank you to everyone for makin this night extra special.
More later when I wake.

And continuing that, easily the most well-rounded opening set I have heard from you...and in fact, heard at Ten15 in a long time. While I thought there was a track that seemed like it was 20 minutes long, overall I really enjoyed listening to it. Around 12:20 I was saying to myself how the next 40 minutes are really gonna define the night because I knew you had the opportunity to really churn things and get the crowd really into it. What I had heard thus far (I wasn't there for all of it) was a very good "warm up" set...get the crowds ears tuned. I was literally thiking you should start playing tracks with more kicks in it and at the exact moment you started to...and you could see the energy bubble that had built up with the crowd was bursting. Was great to see the crowd trickling in and staying in the main room the whole time you were on.
While I say this, I as sorta worried that A&B would still tone it down at first. Not in BPMs, but more in style. They like to play tracks with a lot of long soft periods in them and was afraid that they'd start off like this. But, they didn't! I think that might have been the hardest I've seen A&B play live, ever. And they got pretty damn hard there for awhile.
I thought their set was very solid and very energetic until about 3:15am then they started to play the type of tracks I thought they would start off with. They toned things down quite a bit and while the peak parts of the tracks certainly had energy and had the crowd, just seemed like a lot of moments with long paused for vocals/breakdowns. Wish they would have just keep the energy going until the end. But this is more of a personal thing.
Thanks Taj for the hospitality. Hope I did an OK job. I got far fewer "I want to stab you looks" this time, though I am sure many people were wanting to. Heh.
Sucks everything stopped at 4am. Wanted to hear Taj close it out. BRAIN BOX.

Finally made it home. WOW. What a hell of a fucken gig it was.
Blurr definitly had an awesome set. It was different from his past sets. Still very Energetic and definitly started the night off well. It was recorded cant wait to check it out again.
That was the first time ive seen Above and beyond at 1015. That had to been the best set of the 4 times ive seen them. It was great to finaly get to meet them and share a conversation. They have to be the most polite dj's/producers ive met. They were some jokesters too haha. To bad Jono didnt make it. Part of their set was also recored but Paavo Stopped it i guess cuase Artys laptop was in the way or something.
Thanks to you too, Ish for the progressive experience cd.
Thanks again for the fucking superb night, Taj. I was looking forward to a ear drum crushing set from you.

I wish they would have played the original version of CAN'T SLEEP instead of the Duderstadt - Smile/Can't Sleep mashup. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic set. And not to mention, they also showcased their new Oceanlab - Breaking Ties ! Aaamazing !

I had an awesome time friday night. Personally, that was the best A&B set I have seen to date. They started very slow and proggy, which I love, and progressed to some huge bangers. Highlight tracks for me was the sunlight, fly away (cosmic gate remix), and get off. And of course they played all their hit productions too... overall very fun night.
Thanks for the KYRO!

great night! but it took me a little while to figure that out... earlier in the night, when my buzz kicked in i was just being too negative saying the set was too generic and "typical" and "the usual" above & beyond stuff... yeah, isn't "their style" what i came to see? only then did i realize how much fun i was having. maybe the beginning was a little too light for my impatient self, but they definitely finished it off right.
Blurr - Enjoyed the opener. Great way to open it up for A&B. It built up the energy nicely from start until they came on. I def liked the prog stuff you were playing.
A&B - Loved all the tracks they played. Crowd was great too, very into the set!
Awesome job with the lighting and KRYO Such a great aspect to 1015. The effect on the crowd is priceless!
Taj - I know you said you wanted to end Friday on a high note, but that high note would have been you closing it out! A&B's set was great, but MANY people left the club needing more music! All good though, Sat night was sick
