it just came to my mind.. dont most hotels in europe take your passports upon check in and scan you through INTERPOL?? do they actually keep the passport for your entire stay or just make a copy of it?? i refuse to turn over my passport. i doubt my FL drivers license will get my by over there.

LOL no you've been watching too much TV They may take a photocopy...depends as some do--some don't. But no they won't take your passport.

so yest i started school... for one of my classes i had to sign this sheet and date it, and didnt realize that i wrote 2/7/08 next to my signature. then when i went to take notes i usually write out the whole month and day (just a habit i have) on my paper and wrote FEBRUARY and was like wtf? its def JANUARY...
later on, i wrote the date on ANOTHER paper and not only did i write out FEBRUARY againnn, but i started to write twenty-something for the day and im like WTFFF MAN?!? then i realized what it was...

AMSTERDAM!!!

does anyone know any good ways of getting some absinthe back into the US? my one friend said he mailed home 3 bottles and another friend said he just brought it back with him and customs didnt say shit about it....just wondering any other ideas
