even though i do agree with the first part i don't get the second part of your post..how does electro/minimal relate to the discussion of trance music in any way?

what Iam trying to say that the new atrists these days are throwing everything together and calling it trance.Remember the electro bandwagon we had not too long ago?how every trance Dj was playing eletro/trance because it was cool and all.Now it is the minimal element mixed to it.
Bottom line the mainstream trance isnt as pure anymore.Most of it sounds the same and it is getting harder and harder to find a track that you ll remember 2 months from now.That wasnt the case a few years back.

Time to weigh in with how my night was.

Actually it was damn good & I will tell y'all why: Great people, was able to enjoy the best parts of the sets I wanted to see that night, & was able to avert a couple of near disasters for some random strangers from out of town just by being there at the right time. No more on the near disasters b/c hey, they weren't afterall.

As far as the tunes went, I loved being on the roof for Tom Novy's set, thought is was thoroughly enjoyable, and as Geoff said, it seemed like he was reading minds lol. That & ending with "Love is in the Air" hahahaha...loved it.

Spent much of the remainder of the night in the KH w/ Armin who did a fine job (although I have seen him better) & really didn't leave much to be desired.

So all in all, good times were had with great friends both old & new.

To all those I ran into that night: Cheers!
