Ferry also played a lot of "classic" tracks during his set. I prefer sets with more new music and a few strong classics thrown in here and there, but this seems pretty typical of a massive.

I was suprised by Piet's set because he played a few Rank 1 tracks and remixes in a row in the middle of the set and I haven't seen him done that before. I didn't mind it of course, especially when he played LLO, one of my all-time favs

Ferry's set wasn't the regular type. Twice in a Blue Moon has more of a concert concept so 90% of the tracks he played were his own/remixes.

I think i saw some people steal one of those golf carts and ran over someone.. by ran over i mean hitting them. Pretty funny and extremely stupid at the same time.

+ Ferry rocked it!
+ Easy entrance. No lines.
+ Loved the Labyrinth stage. Great visuals. Was thankful to be outside and relatively cool. Never knew this area existed before. How come it hasn't be used?
+ Appreciated the art pieces.
+ Lots of fireworks always fun to watch.
+ They did a pretty good job of keeping the e-tards off the dance floor.
- Wasn't really feeling any of the other DJs.
- At one point, it looked like we were in an orgy. Everyone around us was dry humping lol.
- Didn't get out of the parking lot until 5:30am

Overall, had a great time. Good job Insomniac. Until next year...

One thing I forgot to mention is that I thought that the high pitched sounds were wayyyyyy too high at the main stage. I used ER-20s and had mild muffling in my ears the next day.

Ah, that would explain it. Guess I just have to see him again for the other experience!

I have just recently gotten into trance, so I didn't mind. :P

It was awesome to finally hear "Rock Your Body Rock" live. The crowd seemed to like it too.

Got there around 11pm, took about 30mins to find a parking spot..

Bought tickets at the event, lines were quick to get through. Some guy got tackled by 4-5 cops right in front of me and my boy, that was a bit crazy.

Once inside, i could not locate a map and didn't really know who was performing where.. Missed Rank 1. Made it to a enlcosed area for RItM live set, it was super hot inside. So stood in the back and watched. Looked as RItM performed their classic show, still good, but they need something new. Moved over to watch Ferry finish up the night, it was good, cool weather, nice tunes and a lot of people. Good times.

After some resistance on my part due to the drive and being broke, I relented and went to Nocturnal. I guess I'm still an old raver at heart and this is one of the few shows that I'll dig out my candy gear (well at least my thirty something impression of it) and head out.

I'm happy I finally went because I had a brilliant night, chilling with friends and spent a lot of time watching the world go by. I love the energy of people who are having a good time.

Was front and center for Christopher Lawrence and as usual he delivered, in fact he saved the night for us musically. Tough trance start to finish, no cheese and pure energy. God bless him. We danced non stop and were damn exhausted by the end of his set. Ferry was good, nostalgic to hear him play some of his original tracks. Interesting to catch his Blue Moon thing, but I'd like to hear him back to some harder stuff in future. It was packed and going off in that room for CL and Ferry, we were loving it!

I could try to give you some reviews of other djs but to be honest, the nights a blur, yes I am still a raver at heart and can rise to the occasion when necessary.

Nocturnal Wonderland is a better name. Don't know why they changed it.
