@Fran666: Thank you for reminding me of previous year's lineups, but unlike many "virgins" here ;-) I've been going to the Black&Blue since 1992 (although I didn't go about 3 times). It's very easy to look up back on the names and say those weren't a big name DJ, but for the gay crowd, those were the DJs they were listening to back then. I do agree with you, however, that it would be great having Seaman back, as he was my favorite DJ last year and the year before.
I do agree with you in that no one is critizicing the Trance room lineup. It's stellar.
Let's be realistic. It's as much about the party as it is about the music unless your're loaded with alcohol or pharmaceuticals. I've mentionned this back when Stereo was having their surprise DJ nights. Some DJs (as good as they can be) just shouldn't play certain events or at certain hours.
@ WittyHandle: So unless my opinion is positive, I'm whining ? Are you american by any chance ? ;-) You have a twisted definition of "freedom of speech".
However, I do agree they dropped the ball this year, especially when you compare it to the Trance room.
Also when I mentionned "for the sake of money", there was a reason. Let me refer you to the first line of the wikipedia link Fran666 provided. The Black&Blue is a benefit. The goal is not to make a profit but raise money. There's a distinction.
