if we use mp3.com artists they're gonna wanna some $$$. they don't want this label as much as we do. besides, it will make us look desperate (well i guess we are anyway)...

do you think you guys are really serious about this
if you are then i can help in some way
i have quit a bit of connections in the toronto rave scene and i could talk to some people and see what they can do.
i know ryan kruger (os/2) and dj eryk s aka rogue state
(the co-owners of destiny productions)
if i talk to them maybe they can gibve us soem pointers or something.
PEACE!!!!!!!

Well, we have to start somewhere... I think starting off with making a real record label would be pretty hard...
But that is the whole idea
Fuck using mp3.com... we haveplenty of good artists on here, and we dont need them sick bastards to host us right we need som digging doing... i havent looked properly at hardware prices yet.. and i think infin' is right in saying we need to find some costs out first... after all without the equipment te producers have nothing to produce on (except an illegal version of reason...)
peace

Wow I dont know how I possibly missed this thread either! But after finally reading all 15 pages I agree I am definately in too. Whatever it takes, I dont have too many skills, I spin a little but am not too good. I could put in any amount of little work though and could chip in some funds. Whatever is needed just give me a holler.

Right infin or tu face give us an idea of wot we need to price up and lets get it sorted.

This is the UK part of the TA label we ae talkin about mostly here.. in which case wherever we put the equipmenteveryting its no more than 3 hours train ride from anywhere.. i think the best idea for deciding where all the stuff is gonna be is simple, we look for places to hire out, and we pick the one that looks most suitable..
I think it would probably be better if we looked for the studio to hire instead of buyin the equipment... so look for that kind of thing i know of one place close to me but i will have to inquire about pricage
Peace
