Twice, but I only really "broke through" the second time. It's one of those things where you really have to let "yourself" go to have anything good come out of it. If you try to impose your thoughts on the trip, rather than just observing, you won't have a good time.

If you really breakthrough, you can even experience ego death. That can be kind of scary to some people, but incredibly enlightening to others.

From what I know there are two ways of making it, I know I can make it with the ground up tree bark and I have a friend of a friend that has already made it and everyone said it was great, but I forget the other way to make it. No idea how to make it, but I'm pretty sure there's a way of making it synthetically (not from tree bark), and that the synthetic type tends to be stronger.
